STRENGTHENING COMMUNITY SPORTS IN BRENT

Sport at the Heart (SatH) has used the WSF anchor grant to boost sustainability and deepen its impact on Brent’s sports sector. Early in 2024, the team held its first staff training retreat, hosted by a local sports provider and organised by StreetGames, sparking new ideas and energy. The grant also funded a women’s sports network, bringing grassroots and major bodies like the FA together, and supported a women’s and girls’ sports festival with over 300 participants. By reinforcing team structure and supporting local initiatives, SatH continues to grow as a leading sports club in the community.
